lady in the morning and young man in the evening, nice as the cleaning lady. very good spot near the center, subway and supermarket. rooms are comfortable and clean.
1°They are on construction site, workers in the access hall to the rooms, hammering, conversations all day.. 2° The floor occupied with materials, they are painting and remodeling the surface of the stairs. smell of paint on the wall is coming from the rooms, smell of glue in the hall from the glue they use for the floating floor, as they are called here in Spain. Conversations of the workers because of their logical work of remodeling. 3° It is named Apart Hotel. universal lie of great. It has no microwave, no electric oven or gas oven. So you can not heat any food bought in supermarket, did not have a miserable little spoon for coffee! I sweetened the coffee with a fork and I ate the custard with a fork too.

The great and the meh
The location is superb. The room was sunlit and peaceful.
Amenities were quite basic. The lack of dishwashing supplies in the kitchen was disappointing, and the furnishings felt outdated, lacking a modern touch.

location-near the interest areas in Madrid and steps by the night life
breakfast- poor. things finished and they(1guy..) used to took long time to replace it...if they replace it, because if it was 10h50 and you hadn`t milk, to bad...it would not be more.. Plus- the breakfast area looks like an adaptacion of a room-apartment, thus is very small for all, making people waiting outside for their turn....

Location, perfect, few meters from the Alonso Martinez Metro station. 5 minute walk from Plaza de Colon (and Recoletos suburban station) and a 15 minute walk from Gran Via and Chueca and Malasana areas. big room and bed, comfortable. bathroom, simple but renovated.
building is old and access areas to the rooms need to be renovated. They're changing the plumbing. smell on entering the room, as if it were closed and as if someone had smoked, was partly solved by opening the window; room was indeed clean. There is a small "kitchen" area (sink, electric plate and fridge) with some crockery (some plates and glasses), you can't prepare either an infusion or a coffee, because there is no coffee maker or some kitchenware (at least, one I occupied).

The location was super convenient, and my room was simple yet comfortable. It definitely exceeded my expectations compared to my previous stays in the city.

Considering the comments I expected something horrible, for 50 euros the night was great. We slept two people in a very spacious room, with a window, it's true that I had some dust accumulated on a shelf, rest was fine. kitchen, although it is true that it is modest, comes great for a fix, it is true that they do not give you anything to wash the dishes, as we slept only one night we did not care. However, with the price tag on it, it's understandable. bathroom is comfortable and has a fairly decent-sized tub, as well as being comfortable. with a very good location, few minutes from the Space monkeys and Malasana, center of Madrid (great way) are just two subway stops, we go 15 minutes. We went out very happy and we would repeat.
It's true that if you stay longer, they might leave you something, however modest, to do the dishes. It is true that there is a Carrefour Express just a few minutes away, but spending money on that for a couple of nights is not worth it.

The location, really near to the metro station and the centre of the city
The antipathy of the staff at the reception and the room could be more clean. Otherwise they gave us a room with a window without a view at a street, and if we open the blinds we could see everything in the room next to our. To me it's a place without a returning.

For better convenience, bring your own hair dryer as they only have one for the entire hotel, and be aware of the limited kitchen supplies.

A good choice of goodies for breakfast. Bright, modern rooms provided with the air con and ' Breakfast '. Stunning location, right on top of two Bars with large terrace for posh kids. Just off safe central area, the nearest Metro station and Madrid.

Location was fine. Very near metro, 15-20 min walk to Gran Via through lively streets with shops, cafes, bars. Staff were fine (although limited English). Room was large enough, bigger than some 3 or 4 star hotels I stayed in before.
Kitchenette facilities limited, basically a 2-ring hob. Breakfast poor, just tea/coffee,bread,croissant. Breakfast room very small, had to wait/queue 10 mins to be seated. Hot water for shower/wash limited at various times, sometimes just lukewarm. Window in room would not open fully as blocked by curtain rail. A/C did not seem to function. Whilst overall the stay was fine, expected more for price paid.

The location was convenient for exploring the city.
My experience was nothing short of frustrating. The air conditioning did not work at all, leaving us in a stifling hot room. The room lacked basic amenities like a hairdryer, forcing us to deal with wet hair. To top it off, the noise from the road outside kept interrupting our sleep.

The rooms were spacious & well equipped including piping hot water for the bath and good kitchen for those days when you want to prepare your own meals. Location central & perfect for city exploring. Breakfast was also a nice option and staff super friendly. Would definitely recommend.
